Senior-Level Landscape Architect

Landscape architectural firm in Laguna Beach, California, specializing in large-scale estate design and site planning is seeking applicants with a Landscape Architecture degree for full-time position as a Senior-Level Landscape Architect.

Candidates must be licensed in the State of California, have 10+ years design experience and have a body of completed work that indicates a high level of expertise in all aspects of the design process. In addition, the candidate should have proven experience in all phases of project management including proposal writing, scheduling, budget management, and construction administration.

Requirements:

Degree in Landscape Architecture
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, Revit, Microsoft Office, and other advanced rendering platforms
Strong design skills, ability to hand sketch, and attention to detail
Effective time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects at a time, meet strict deadlines, with problem solving skills
Strong communication skills

Successful candidates should be well rounded and have experience with design, project management, design development, and construction documents. This person will work in a project team environment during all phases of design, from conceptual design through construction observation. Candidates should be innovative, have strong ideas, a responsible work ethic, and be proficient in hand and digital graphics. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with clients, sub-consultants, and peers in a responsible and professional manner.

Education:

Bachelors degree or better in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university. Landscape Architecture License.

Junior or Mid-Level Landscape Designer

Landscape architectural firm in Laguna Beach, California specializing in large-scale estate design and site planning is seeking applicants with a Landscape Architecture degree for full-time position as a Junior or Mid-Level Landscape Designer.

This position includes assisting with the production of planting plans, irrigation plans, construction documents, color renderings, elevations, and 3D computer modeling. Applicant should be able to work closely with other design professionals and possess strong design and graphic skills. Candidate should initiate original ideas and ideas for project success. We are looking for a hard working individual who is well organized and exhibits excellent time management skills.

Skills:

Experience through all phases of design and construction documentation.
Strong computer skills (including AutoCAD, 3D modeling, Adobe Suite, MS Suite)
Experience with preparing detailed plans and working drawings, as well as knowledge of plant materials and irrigation systems.
Technical knowledge of construction detailing, materials, grading and drainage, and field experience.
Experience coordinating with a range of consultants.
Strong hand sketching and drawing.

Bachelors degree or better in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
